It depends what your referring to, from a historical perspective the bible is very accurate. Other things have o be taken with faith. But then again all religions and yes even evolution require leaps of faith.

What goes for the books of the Bible goes for every other book too: you have to decide for yourself as you read whether or not it has the ring of truth to it.

Why should the Bible be any different?
There is this movie out called ';A Case for Christ'; where a non-believer tries to disprove the bible and in the meantime ends up a believer. He finds a lot of objective evidence that is compelling. Also, you do know from experience but if you don't feel God in your heart than do more research. Even some of the biggest Darwinists cannot prove all things through evolution. Just as a Christian cannot prove all things through the bible...you have to have faith through your own understanding.
And Merry CHRISTmas to all. It is always funny to me that the people that are athiests/agnostics are all out shopping for Christmas. Why celebrate the birth of Christ if you don't believe? Just curious b/c I see so many non-believers on here right before the holidays and I always wonder if they are going to celebrate Christmas.
