Is this statement true ? '; freshwater doesn't necessarily mean it's cean but clean water is fresh water!';?

Clean water is water that is of sufficiently high quality that it can be drunk without risk of immediate or long term harm. Such water is commonly called potable water. In most developed countries the water supplied to households, commerce and industry is all of Drinking water standard even though only a very small proportion is actually drunk or used in food preparation.

Freshwater is a word that refers to bodies of water such as ponds, lakes, rivers and streams containing low concentrations of dissolved salts and other total dissolved solids. In other words, the term excludes seawater and brackish water.

So no, I think it is false. Clean water might be seawater which has been desalinated and can, therefore, be drunk.

Freshwater, can be from a lake an still be very dirty.Is this statement true ? '; freshwater doesn't necessarily mean it's cean but clean water is fresh water!';?
fresh water just means its not salt water. it can still have some nasty crap in it, but its still considered ';fresh';

clean water means it is sterile enough to drink, which means it doesn't have salt (saltwater will make u puke if u drink too much of it), or crap, or any other disgusting stuff. clean water is not necessarily fresh because depending on ur definition of fresh, it could mean that it comes from nature. clean water can be purified like dasani water.Is this statement true ? False! Freshwater doesn't necessarily mean it's clean, but clean water isn't always fresh water. Clean water can include salt water that has been purified (like in desalination when excess salt is removed from salt water). Keep in mind, though, that the definition of clean water varies...
It depends exactly what it means by clean. In my opinion (which is if by clean it means human-potable) It's true. Freshwater doesn't mean clean, it just means salt free, but if by clean it means Human-Potable (Drinkable by Humans), then salt-water would not be clean.
no that is because clean water is no fresh water in cases and fresh water is clean water as well since fresh water needs to be clean, but clean waater doesnt have to be fresh
No, Clean water isn't necessarily fresh water, it could be recycled and purified rather than naturally occurring.
no it isn't, because not all clean water is freshwater, and dirty water can be freshwater too.
