Someone changes the channel





My life would never be the same





I am seventeen and this is one of many of my poems. Why do you think I named this poem, Television? 10 Points to best explanation.Can you understand the true meaning to this poem? 10pts?
Because Television is a metaphor for life and you're saying that people can affect your life as easily as changing a TV channel with a remote. (They don't even have to get up.)Can you understand the true meaning to this poem? 10pts?
Well to be honest at first glance it seems like a random sentence put together with another random sentence, but if you look at it figuratively, then it might not seem so random...


Well I guess you could say for the first two lines, it could be like how your life was kind of set aside, you could have been:


Lonely


Depressed


At a standstill in life


It could mean a bunch of stuff, but back to the original problem. Then there's the changing the channel part. That could mean someone came into your life and completely transformed it, who knows? But it seems to me that it would explain the last line how your life would never be the same.


This was just a guess, and as to why you named it Television? Well I would say because you could be comparing your life to a TV, changing the channel would change...I don't know, maybe the mood it is expressing?


Well, this was fun to think through, hope I got at least some of it right ^^.

but some special one enter the life


he filled mah life wid pleasure, love, aim, security, passion, charm and everything


(someone changes the channel)


now remote is in some one's hand


and so the chanel is changed...........

Because life around you is always changing people change and places change by calling your poem television you are looking at every thing thats going on in the world you can switch on and off when you want to
